An international US luxury fashion and luxury sports brand is seeking an experienced regional merchandising director to focus on the Asia Pacific region. Reporting directly into the CEO, you will be responsible for the Asia Pacific region. If you have an eye for detail and strong negotiation skills then you will enjoy managing the merchandising/buying across all categories. You will also be getting involved with market surveys and pricing, along with staff training and development. Organize and manage the buying of seasonal items and the replenishment of permanent items for the markets in to ensure the right products and right quantities are purchased to meet the sales objectives, to initiate and co-organize transfers within the region
Key requirements:
Previous experience in developing business plans, sales forecasts and OTB
Five years’ experience in merchandising / buying, ideally within a luxury brand
A degree holder
Good command of English
