A very successful EQD market making / proprietary trading firm is expanding to the fast growing Asian market. They are seeking to hire a financial specialist for their new Hong Kong office.
Job description:
- Financial administration
- Processing incoming invoices
- Accounts Payable and Receivable and payments to external creditors
- Intercompany transactions
- Improving financial processes
- According best practices via documentation of workflows & procedures
- Controlling activities at the end of an accounting period
- Supporting consolidation of Group figures
- Reporting activities for Regulators and Auditors
- Supporting special projects
- Supporting forecast and budget cycles
- Maintaining good relationships with various external contacts, 3rd party vendors/suppliers and colleagues in foreign subsidiaries
Requirements:
- University level education – at least to Bachelor’s level
- 4 years relevant work experience
- A hands-on mentality
- Good knowledge of accounting
- Experience in Exact Software is a pre
- Assertive and Self starting
- Good knowledge of MS Office programs
- Accurate and responsible
- Flexible and able to keep pace in a dynamic environment
- Team player
- No 9 to 5 mentality
- Proactive with good communication skills
- Experience in Exact
- potential management skills
- Fluent in English and Cantonese
