Overview
We are supporting our client who is looking for an experienced professional in the home textiles field. The successful candidate will have extensive experience with all instances of quality control of textiles.
Responsibilities and Requirements
Must have a minimum of 5 years experience in management of a Quality Assurance/Control team.
Must be hands-on in managing a business and directing subordinates.
Prefer someone with experience in home textiles, but would also consider candidates from fabric or apparel industry.
Must have managerial experience, with a minimum of 10-12 direct reports.
Must understand/have experience with woven fabrics – specifically jacquard fabrics.
Must understand/have experience with color (dying, printing, finishing, testing, yarn-dyed vs. piece dyed – etc.).
Must be open to traveling to US headquarters (maybe once or twice a year) to work with owner and buying teams.
Prefer candidates who have also had experience in coordinating production of an order between multiple factories.
