Job Responsibilities:

The role will be based in Hong Kong as part of building the Hong Kong office. The Account Manager will be required to work supervise a small team, be flexible and will be required to undertake many & varied tasks other and above the responsibilities described below.

1. To manage the daily workflow of a number of clients, meeting agreed deadlines. To maintain positive client relations, and to help generate new business.
2. To supervise staff (4-6) and to provide a detailed review of their work in accordance with established procedure. To provide training to staff and contribute to their development and performance evaluations.
3. To be up to date on regulatory and legal requirements, to meet any filing deadlines.
4. Preparation of year end and semi annual accounts in accordance with the relevant accounting standards.
5. Report to internal management on time spent on clients, fees earned on different clients.
6. To develop, implement and maintain appropriate controls within his/her area of responsibility.
7. To complete special projects and to perform other duties as directed.
8. To build, train and develop staff in the Hong Kong office. In particular, the Account Manager would be expected to train staff on the system, their process and procedures

Job Requirements:

1. Extensive knowledge of Eagle and SHARP proficient
2. Experience in dealing with shareholders would be an advantage
3. Ideally the candidate should have an Accountancy Qualification, either working in the Fund Administration Industry for a number of years in a similar role, or auditing experience of Fund Administration companies.
4. They should also have experience in managing client relations and a team of staff.
