Job Description:
Based in Shanghai but with lots of travel involved, the SQE is primarily responsible for selecting, auditing, and developing new and existing suppliers in the Yangtze River region. This will require an applicant who can accurately forecast and report on supplier base risk, and who can continually improve quality whilst reducing cost.
The Successful Applicant:
We are looking for a local candidate who combines the qualities of achievement, independence, negotiation and is a team player. You will have a BSC or MSC in either electrical, mechanical, industrial or biomedical engineering and 6 years relevant experience. Knowledge of ISO9001, ISO13485 and QSR quality systems is essential, and knowledge of PPAP would be a plus. Finally, you must have commodity specific technical expertise with PCBAs, wire harnesses, machining, sheet metal, molded plastics and OEMs.
