Our client is a leading International Bank Group with a strong and established Consumer Banking business in Asia and the Emerging Markets. As part of continual growth in the region, an outstanding opportunity has arisen for a leader in Business Finance to join the regional team.
Reporting to the Regional Head of Business Finance, you will lead and supervise a team of financial analysts focusing on the Consumer Banking business for the North Asia region. Your team will be responsible for the production of management reports, MIS, actual results, budget and forecast. As a partner to the business and senior management, you will analyse and explain variances, client profitability as well as to provide information to support decisions making. Additionally, you will be responsible for identifying and analysing risks and opportunities related to financial impacts as well as to lead systems improvement initiatives.
To qualify, individuals must possess:
-A university degree and additional qualifications such as MBA, CPA, CIMA, CMA would be highly regarded
-Minimum 8 to 10 years relevant experience in Business Finance, Performance/Financial Analysis, Management Reporting gained in Consumer Banking
-Proven experience in supporting Businesses
-Good knowledge of Consumer Banking products
-Leadership skills and experience in supervising a team
-Excellent communication skills with fluency in English
