As a key member of the ICP-MS Product Marketing team, you will use your strong record in ICP-MS marketing and applications to develop marketing and marketing communications plans, including generation of the creative content for marketing materials to support Agilent’s fast growing ICP-MS business. You will also provide input to drive and develop software specifications for the R&D team, and be responsible for collecting market and user inputs to insure the software specification meets the needs of ICP-MS users.
You will also represent Agilent at conferences and seminars worldwide and develop training programs and materials to insure field competency in ICP-MS.

Key Responsibilities:
- Define and create marketing and marcom plans for the ICP-MS product line. - Develop and deliver WW ICP-MS training programs and online content for Agilent staff. - Develop software specifications for use by Agilent R&D in developing ICP-MS software platforms. - Participate in ICP-MS online discussion groups and forums. - Develop and maintain strategic customer relationships. - Work with internal and external marketing groups.
Qualifications
- BS/MS in Chemistry or equivalent.
- Industry/Application expertise. Strong knowledge of ICP-MS instrumentation plus other metals techniques such as ICP-OES, AA. At least 5 years working for an inorganic instrument vendor, predominantly in ICP-MS.
- 5 years experience in inoganic sales and marketing, with at least 3 years in marketing.
- At least 3 years working in a lab or as an applications chemist for an instrument company, using ICP-MS.
- Must be able to travel up to 25% of the time.
- Written and spoken English at or very near native English speaker standard.
- Geographic Location: Tokyo, Japan preferred. Relocation benefits negotiable.
