Our client is a sizable (foreign based) MNC listed group. The core business of the Group is manufacturing and distributing of building products. In order to cope with their rapid business expansion in China, they are now looking for a high caliber professional to join the finance team in China.
CFO (Beijing)- manufacturing
Key Responsibilities
-Reporting directly to the Top Management, the successful candidate will be a key strategic business partner to the senior management team by providing critical financial expertise. While managing the finance team, you will work to develop and evaluate business strategies and plan for market expansion. Moreover, you will assist in structuring and financing projects/acquisitions/JVs with coordination with all professional parties, the regulatory bodies and investors.
Responsibilities:
-Responsible for providing, managerial direction and overall effectiveness of the finance function, which includes direct reports and support staff.
-Directs the organization's financial planning and accounting practices as well as its relationship with key institutions and stakeholders by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate managers.
-Oversees and directs all related finance and accounting functions. Functional responsibilities include accounting & financial reporting, corporate control, treasury and corporate finance, tax, and mergers & acquisitions.
-Additionally, the CFO should have knowledge of financial ERP Systems as they relate to company Information Technology
Requirements:
-University degree and a professional accounting qualification
-Possesses any professional qualification e.g. CPA, ACCA, CGA etc.
-At least 10 years financial experience in which 5 years are gained from PRC background
-Familiar with HK and PRC laws, accounting and taxation matters
-Experience in mining business will definitely an advantage
-Good analytical and leadership skills with solid managerial level leading experience
-Excellent command in spoken and written English and Mandarin
-Previous experience within a manufacturing setting is a must.
