This company is the seventh-oldest privately held manufacturing company in the United States. In Asia, the company has offices in Hong Kong, China, South Korea, and Australia.
We are looking for a technical candidate with experience in configuration, testing, maintenance and support of Microsoft networks and Microsoft exchange servers, internet information servers and SQL servers.
As the IT Engineer you will be singlehandedly responsible for the day-to-day hardware, some software and system support. (Wireless devices, IP phone, Blackberry, and other peripheral devices.) Implement IT back-up with the corporate IT team and provide IT training to ensure the proper use of the IT accessories, you will also liaising with the service desk in the US to provide user support. Other responsibilities include Computer operation support including data backup and IT facilities administration.
Regarding the systems and networks you will coordinate with the corporate network team to provide network and server support; analyze the IT needs of an organization and recommend technological solution needs. Coordinate with the corporate service desk for the installation of new software and hardware to support business growth and provide hardware/software trouble shooting, installation and support. Further you will assist in the management of company IT assets and assist in purchase of hardware and other IT supplies.
Requirements
At least 5 years working experience in desktop support service, system administration and configuration.
Able to work independently
Data security knowledge
Have china operation experience
University Degree in related disciplines
Possess formal and recognized qualifications in Information and Communication Technology
Knowledge of principles and practices of personal computers and information technology.
Ability to communicate technical information effectively.
Good command of English and Putonghua both in writing and speaking.
Station in HK and willing to travel in Asia.
Good analytical and resolving network & server problem
Good sense of computer and information security
Work location is in New Territories, close to the border in Sheung Shui. This company will offer you a good remuneration package
