This magic circle firm is internationally one of the largest and most profitable law firms in the world. With a long standing presence in the region, their reputation is exemplary, and they are looking for a talented Business Development Executive to join their team.
Reporting to the Business Development and Communications Manager, your key responsibility will be the researching, drafting and production of pitches, capability statements, tenders and presentations. You will have to perform sector and company analysis and utilize client lists to identify potential business development opportunities as well as track the success of various business development initiatives and liaise with other practice groups working with the same clients. You will also be responsible for marketing activities such as reviewing news articles and preparing daily market awareness reports, draft press releases and co-ordinate mailings for client newsletters and event invitations.
The successful candidate must be degree educated in a related field, and must have 2-3 years business development experience in an international business-to-business environment. You must have experience of working in a law firm or an understanding of legal products and services; you must be skilled in winning new business and have a proven delivery record of working with senior management or within a partnership. You must be an energetic and enthusiastic self-starter with excellent communication skills; English is necessary, written and spoken Mandarin skills desirable.
