Our client is a highly ranked organization on the Fortune 500, and is one of the largest private employers in the US. With their continuous improvement in their operation, they are seeking a high calibre sourcing professional to lead their global sourcing team.

Reporting to Managing Director, your core responsibilities will be:

* Developing and driving sourcing strategies and supply chain initiatives
* Indentifying sourcing requirements at each operating countries
* Accountable for the business performance across all product categories
* Drive supply demand planning to ensure consistent and efficient support to business growth
* Explore and optimize opportunities in vendor base expansion, quality performance, process improvement, cost and lead time reduction
* Establish human resource strategies to retain, train and develop staff


Successful candidate should have:

* At least 10 years experience in sourcing with previous experience in a large international buying office or trading company a definite advantage
* Experience in the US consumer and retail markets, and / or understanding of other markets
* Track record of success in managing large and remote teams
* Results driven, resourceful and approachable team player
* Excellent leadership, communication and strategic planning skills
* Fluency in English and Chinese
