Key Challenges:
Develop a best in class Master Data Management process template for AA region(Asia, Africa, Middle East, Central & East Europe, Turkey) which will support
- Improved quality of Information
- Improved quality of process transactions
Responsible for the Process delivery of the MDM (Master Data Management )Track. This includes
- Responsible for compliance to approved Information Standards (Master Data related)
- Driving the development of regional AA master data information standards with the support from other Regional Process Leads (RPLs).
- Ensures MDM process harmonization across AA based on regional/external best practice
- Ensures development of MDM Ops Standard Operating Procedure as appropriate
- Work along with IT Track Lead to derive maximum business benefit from the IT investment in MDM Tools
- Ensures effective interfaces with related processes (CSO, Finance, Integrated Planning, etc)
- Ensures quality in Process Design
- Ensures design is completed within scope and on time
- Ensures regional sign off for process blueprint
- Participates in Process & Information Convergence program management meetings thus being accountable of successful delivery of the program along with PM team
Key Accountabilities:
Delivery of the MDM model covering the following:
Compliance to the approved Information Standards (master data related)
Development of regional AA Information Standards (master data related) to support all processes
Ensure master data creation & maintenance process harmonization across AA for reference masters
- Drive towards shared services support for MDM processes
Support other RPLs in initiatives related to operational masters
Ensure quality in process design
Ensure design is completed within scope and on time
Ensure regional sign off for process design
Supports issue resolution for MDM track related to process design and process harmonization. Interfaces & Escalated to the MDM Regional Process Owner
Support the IT Track lead in development of the MDM IT Toolset by providing inputs on business priority and cost benefit analysis
Jointly being accountable for successful delivery of the program along with the program management team
Drive the communication and adoption of Information Standards (master data related) developed in Process & Information Convergence program with other IT Strategy program (e.g. CD Stack)
Key Requirements:
Experience in the area of Master Data and/or Data Quality
Experience of CD & Supply Chain processes
Experience in Financial data Management
Experience in dealing with a large number of contacts including senior management in operating companies
