With a successful history of operations in Hong Kong, our client is a leading global asset management firm with one of the region’s largest investment teams. Offering world class investment products to both individual and institutional investors, they are now looking for a writer to join their marketing team and develop their marketing materials, further positioning themselves as market leaders in the region.
As an important member of the Marketing and Sales Support team, you will be responsible for developing a broad range of marketing materials to help promote our client’s brand, products and services in both English and Chinese. You will work closely with a variety of sales teams throughout the company in order to develop specific communications materials to support them and help drive sales. You will have to draft product brochures, direct mailers, sales presentations and client newsletters in both English and Chinese and offer English to Chinese translation of fund reports and market commentary, as well as write press releases for the company.
The successful candidate must have 1 to 3 years experience in marketing writing from within an asset management or financial services firm, a degree in language, marketing or communications, excellent writing and editing skills in Chinese as well as strong written skills in English. You must have good Chinese to English translation skills, a strong marketing sense, and some knowledge of financial markets. You will have to work well as a member of a team, have good time management skills and pay keen attention to detail.
