Our client is an international skincare and cosmetics retailer. With an attractive portfolio of world class brands combined with their own unique range of products they continue to expand their presence in the local market. Due to this unprecedented growth, they are now looking to expand their operations team and this has allowed them to create a new position of Sourcing Manager.
Based in Hong Kong and reporting to the Director of Product Development, you will be responsible for managing the company's network of manufacturers. You will source new suppliers, work with the sales team in order to develop new products in line with the target consumer, negotiate on price, maximise lead time efficiency and evaluate supplier performance. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated sourcing specialist with a good network in Greater China to join an organization with big plans for the future.
To qualify individuals must possess:
-5+ years of sourcing/product development experience
-Exposure in skincare or personal care products is a must
-Strong project management skills
-Energetic and detailed minded
-Fluency in English and Mandarin
-University degree
