Our client is a global US investment bank with an excellent reputation of providing quality financial products and services. With a focus on Asia, this business unit is looking to strengthen their already established operation by delivering global securities, cash processing and information services to a wide variety of potential and current clients.
Reporting to the Chief Marketing Officer you will look at developing and executing external marketing initiatives for the business unit across Asia Pacific. You will be expected to locally manage all marketing resources in the region to deliver the marketing requirements of the businesses, this will include advertising, advertorials, collateral development, client events, external communications, research and selected sales support activities. You will play a leadership role in the marketing communities, creating forums for APAC-based marketers to share information and learn from each other as well as aggregate information on activities for presentation to the business unit. You will work closely with corporate communications team to generate positive public relations in the region, with Corporate Communications to execute high quality, cost-effective client events that showcase the brand, and with Internal Communications to originate ideas for communicating across the businesses to ensure that employees understand the goals, activities and accomplishments of all APAC businesses under the business unit.
The successful candidate will have at least 10-15 years experience in wholesales or B2B marketing, ideally in a global organization. Financial Services experience preferred. You will have solid leadership skills and attributes as well as a high level of energy and integrity. You will demonstrate respect for a diversity of opinions and styles and will be accountable and responsible for the budgets. You will also be experience in working within a matrix/ remote reporting structure. Fluency in English in essential.
