Due to the tremendous growth experienced in the region, our client is currently looking to recruit a Planning and Budgeting Manager in their Finance Team.
In this role, you will be responsible for working closely with Hospitality, Food and Beverage, Serviced Apartments and Housekeeping, to collate information for planning and budgeting purposes. The role also has responsibility for analyzing monthly variance reporting and identifying and managing issues with finance and accounting that impact on business performance. The role requires someone that can "implement" new procedures within a fresh environment rather than someone that is used to working within a structured environment.
To qualify, you will need a university degree or equivalent professional qualification with at least 8 years post-qualification experience. You must have demonstrated competency in budgeting, management accounting, forecasting and resource allocation and providing financial advice and guidance to Directors and senior managers. You must have the ability to interpret and report high quality financial information, ability to understand and use financial planning and accounting systems and proven experience working under tight deadlines and prioritising work accordingly. Somebody with prior hospitality experience will have an advantage.
