A rapidly expanding Hong Kong buying office for a UK branded company is seeking a dynamic General Manager, with a key focus to increase sales internationally and manage purchasing operations in Asia.
Responsibilities:
Lead the planning and development of new sales opportunities internationally
Market the company’s brands, and promote the role of the Hong Kong office as major supplier in core product categories
Manage operations in the Hong Kong office, oversee the development and improvement of the supply chain, supplier base and new product categories
Manage projects and relationships with key customers
Organize international exhibitions and sales events
Requirements:
5-8 years experience at management level in purchasing / international sales area.
Fluent English; strong communication and relationship management skills
Proven track record in international sales
Proactive, dynamic, with strong organizational and leadership skills
Self-motivated and driven to succeed
Ability to manage and develop supply chain, extensive experience developing business with Asian suppliers, particularly China manufacturers
