This is an exciting opportunity to join UBS working in one of the key growth areas for the business – Market Risk. As an area that has traditionally not been given a high level of importance in the industry, UBS sees this as one of the keys to success for the organization.
Be involved in driving such a change and leading the way in the APAC region in this System Analyst role. The position will take responsibility for the ‘front-to-back’ analysis associated with various projects and programmes. Specifically, one of these initiatives is to provide a strategic reporting platform replacing existing legacy processes for Equity Stream.
Key tasks and responsibilities include:
1. Working closely with Market Risk Control and other departments to gather high-level requirements
2. Following the high-level requirement through to a detailed level that will enable system development to progress
3. Acting as the bridge between technical teams and the client throughout the development period
4. Actively participating in the Acceptance Testing period to confirm the solution prior to deployment to production
5. Contributing to project being on schedule, meeting client needs and identifying business benefit at the earliest opportunity
Requirements:
Our ideal candidates should have the following requisites:
1. Strong analytical skills with knowledge of structured analytical methodologies
2. Ability to understand and respond to clients needs as well as manage their expectations
3. Working knowledge of the IT project lifecycle
4. Experience of Business Process Analysis and Modelling
5. Experience of Data Analysis and Modelling; particularly in relation to Risk Management or Financial products
6. Solid technical knowledge in databases and MS Services such as Panorama or other cube technologies ideal.
