Our client is a global trading company specializing in healthcare, lighting and consumer lifestyle and innovative electronic products. They have been active in Hong Kong since nineteen forties with over twelve hundred staff in this region. They design and manufacture lighting products, domestic appliances and high-end consumer electronics. With the rapid growth of their business in Asia, they are currently looking for an experienced Senior Purchasing Manager to lead a new team here.
Reporting to the Purchasing Director, you will manage the OEM/ODM supplier’s performance in the area of cost, quality and delivery performance. The incumbent will implement and execute procedures including Product Realization Process and Best Improvement Program. The key responsibilities for this role will be developing and executing an article group strategy for the commodities and product groups.
To qualify, you will be degree holder with 6 years experience in purchasing. You have to be familiar with OEM/ODM outsourcing business mode with well developed commercial and negotiation skills. The successful candidate has to have strong language skills including English and Chinese and willing to travel frequently.
