Executive Communications Manager
Oversees and is responsible for developing and executing a strategic communications strategy for senior executive and team leading China 3.0 initiative. This position reports to the Vice President of Business Operations for Cisco’s China 3.0 initiative. Responsibilities include:
•Execute against a master Communications plan for China 3.0, including longer-term planning and strategic thinking for one-, three- and five-year view.
•Creation of messaging link to other global centers, theaters, countries and corporate.
•Strategic team member of China 3.0 team and Asia Pacific Corporate Communications team, focused on development of content and customization of key messages for multiple audiences including global messages.
•Creating briefing materials, presentations, special writing assignments and special project and event assignments to support senior executive.
•Development of non-presentation-based external communications for China executives (video blogs, etc.)
•Responsible for ongoing development as a speaker and presenter.
•Overall strategy for PR/IR/AR/Speakers bureau.
•Oversees calendar and time allocation for internal/external audiences.
•Oversees content for strategic Cisco (Big Four) and global events.
•Partners closely with collaboration solutions evangelist and team.
Collaboration efforts:
•Must develop strong partnership within the organization as well as cross-functionally
•Ensures overall communications strategy is successfully executed across multiple channels globally using virtual team members.
Skills Required:
•Demonstrates strategic thinking, strong executive influence skills and content development skills, with the ability to communicate details of an activity and share best practices outside the organization.
Must be able to extract salient information from multiple sources and synthesize information into presentations that are consistent with the approved communications strategies.
